Safety First

Safety First is paramount to Quattro Ports. Our employees and contractors are our most important asset and their families depend on them going home safely at the end of their working day or shift.

To achieve our safety goals, Quattro Ports will:

  • Establish, review and continuously improve health, safety and environmental objectives and targets.
  • Maintain safety and environmental management systems and processes based on sound risk management principles.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation, regulation and codes of practice.
  • Provide a platform for our workforce, our stakeholders and our community to partner in the health and safety journey through effective consultation and communication and the sharing of knowledge and ideas.
  • Ensure all incidents and near misses are reported to prevent recurrence.
  • Implement effective injury management and return to work programs to facilitate the early, safe and durable recommencement of normal duties for all injured workers.
  • Communicate our health and safety priorities and plans and ensure all workers are trained in and have the effective tools to contribute to a safe, incident free workplace.








Induction

To ensure that the highest safety, health and environmental standards are maintained, all Employees, Contractors, and Visitors  to the Port Kembla Grain Terminal are required to have completed a Quattro Ports Induction.
