Regional Ports 2017 Conference

28/8/2017

On the 28th and 29th August 2017, NSW Ports Wollongong hosted the 10th annual Regional Ports Summit at the Wollongong Novotel.

With the Port of Port Kembla already being New South Wales’ largest motor vehicle import hub and grain export port as well as catering for a growing range of dry bulk, bulk liquid and general cargo, Paul Scully, MP for Wollongong opened up the conference by saying "the future of the Port of Kembla is bright and full of tremendous opportunity for new business and job opportunities for the Illawarra region".

The two-day Regional Ports event featured 21 guest speakers (including our very own Terminal Manager, Dene Ladmore), a showcase of the latest port developments and key strategies to maximise the efficiency of Australia’s regional ports as well as a tour of Port Kembla.
